Editing Your Sites CSS

You can edit all of your sites CSS direct from your AdminCP. You can read up on CSS [by clicking here].

To do this login into your AdminCP and go to:

Extensions >> Theme >> Manage Themes

Then for the theme

phpFox (Default)

click the drop down icon and then click

Manage Styles 

This page lists all the styles that belong to this one theme. Next for the style

phpFox (Default)

click on the drop down icon and then click

Edit CSS

From this page we have all of your sites CSS code. The CSS files that are grouped in the

Global CSS

are the main CSS files for your site. The 2 files that are loaded on every page and control the main layout of your site are

layout.css
common.css

Only problem with this instruction? When you upgrade, won't your changes be overwritten? Should we not make a child theme instead? Is there an option to make a child theme like we can with WordPress?

No, the changes are not overwritten. Why? Because they are saved into the database.
