Change your site's logo
One of the first steps of making your phpFox site unique is to change the site logo.
To change your site logo login to your AdminCP, then go to:
Extensions >> Theme >> Manage Themes
then to click on the drop down button next to the current theme - usually "phpFox - (Default)"
Manage Styles
then click on the current style - usually "phpFox - (Default)" here too. Then click on the option:
Change Logo
Browse after your logo then upload it. You can have the script automatically resize the logo for you - if you want. Once done click:
Upload Logo
Check out your site now and see if the logo suits your site well!
Logo size problem here too-
ho's everyone not getting this same problem - how do we change the top to allow more than 40px of space.
the actuall logo size for the standard phpfox is 189 x 40 not 50 because the actual to is 40px and not 50px. but how to change this? css, html, ??? what page or pages should we edit?
190px x 50px should be fine, plus you can use the automatically resize option when you upload.
I have tried to put in a "test" logo to see what it would look like at the specs it called for (200x142)...and it does not fit correctly in the uphand left corner, it stretches down into my menu bar...is there any way to get it back to the default text for now? I don't see anything that allows me to remove my logo...
Also how do I correct this problem being that I shrunk the logo to the recommended specs and it still goes well beyond the box into the menu bar...?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.
I don't have a Manage Styles only create Styles
