We are always on the look out for skilled programmers, support technicians and technical editors. If you feel you have the necessary skills, please feel free to apply below with your CV and resume. All inquiries are treated confidentially.

Support Technician

This job includes the support of our product by means of answering support/technical tickets which our clients get via their emails. It also includes helping out in our forums, install/upgrading the software package. Requires knowledge in PHP, MySQL and well written English. If you have a fast internet connection this is a plus.

Web Designer

Working in our design department will give you the opportunity to create new fresh templates for our products and update our main site. Knowledge in CSS 1 needed (CSS 2 is a plus), ability to code in XHTML. Able to use Photoshop as this is what we have used in the past, however this is not a requirement. Need an eye for designing a site in WEB 2.0 standards. When applying for this job we ask that you send in some examples of sites you have either created or worked with.

Technical Editor

This job includes the editing and creating of our software documentation for current released versions and for future versions. Also includes the routine to check on our websites and software to make sure the default English language package is updated and grammatically correct. If you have a background in PHP this is a plus, however it is not required. Excellent English skills needed. Since our documentation now is a WIKI, if you have a background working with WIKI's this is a great plus. However this not required as we will not be using a WIKI based system for our next major version release.

Debugger

Debugging of Konsort will include work done during the development stages and during the live release of each version. This includes fixing all reported and found bugs. Knowledge in PHP and MySQL is needed. Extra skills needed is the understanding of PHP CURL and GD, however these are not required. As we use SMARTY as our template engine, having an understanding of how it works would be a plus. This is also not a requirement as picking up how it works is fairly easy if you have a history in PHP.

Bug/Functionality Tester

Bug testing is a process done during a development period. As we constantly develop our product this can become a job to follow up on a daily basis. No knowledge of developing is needed, although it would be a plus. An understanding of how social networking sites function and the ability to pick up how Konsort works is needed. This job will include testing the functionality of Konsort on test and live server environments. Testing the functionality includes retesting of all the features Konsort has to offer from the users side and from the Admin CP. It also includes the retesting of the install and upgrade routine for each release.

JavaScript Developer

Well rounded experience with JavaScript. This specific job will focus on the development of phpFoX Konsort version 2.0+. Development will include working with the new Konsort JavaScript engine, which is still under development. This engine will include tools to power Konsorts AJAX driven capabilities, WYSIWYG Editor, Live Chat and Instant Messenger modules. With version 2.0 we will be focusing on adding an array of AJAX capabilities to make Konsort an even more user friendly environment.

We are currently using TinyMCE as our official WYSIWYG editor. However with version 2.0, we will be working on developing our own web editor; which will also be a large part of this specific job.
