locked myself.. again!

Posted February 22, 12:47 am 2012

This is why I "usually" dont tamper with a setting I dont understand..
under admin panel, manage user groups, administrator
I hit "user cant stay logged in" (assuming it would time out a user if not active)

the result was it has locked me out and I cant log back in to switch it off.
any idea where this setting sits in myphpadmin?

there is another thread about this and I'll go look in phpmyadmin.

pheww. Im not the only idiot here then! Now I dont feel (as) bad!

Do I have to restart the server in order for the site to accept the new values?
Im in phpmyadmin
under phpfox_user_group_setting --->Line 45 user phpfox can_stay_logged_in

I put them all to 0, then 1, then 2, but nothing made a difference. I still cant under the setting, it keeps logging me out

Just set the admin user group to 1 for that. then look in phpfox_user_setting and see if you have that setting_id 45 set to 0 for user group 1 and if so set it to 1. backup the db before changing things. clear site cache in file/cache after. leave index.html in there.

After you get access to admin go through your user group settings so that you can set your groups to be able to stay logged in as you want.

I changed line 45's defaults to "1"
it gets me as far as users->manage user groups->any user group edit
when I try to click *any* module it sais I must be logged in to view this.

Cant seem to figure this out..
Care to have a look? cry
