Your members can share their thoughts and insights by writing blogs to share with the community.
Public Blog Categories
You can add as many public blog categories, which your users can select when they are writing their blog entries. Users can select more then one blog category to include with each of their blog entries.
Private Blog Categories
When your users write their blogs they can select public categories, however they can also create their own set of categories that belong personally to them and only show up on their profile.Password Protection
Each blog a user creates can be password protected. Only those with the password can view their blog entry and those that have the permission to view password protected blogs, which by default is only allowed for Admins.
Tags
Each blog can contain as many tags the creator adds. All these tags are added to a block on the blogs index page displaying what is the trending topics and will make it easier for your members to search.Comment Control
Users can decide if they want to allow comments on a blog entry. They can also moderate comments and approve them before they are displayed publicly.Privacy
Privacy options are included and come with the following options:- Public (Blog will be added to our public blog section)
- Personal (Blog will only be displayed on your profile)
- Friends (Only you and your friends can view this blog)
- Preferred List (Only you and the members you select can view this blog)
Drafts
Users can save blogs as drafts and once they are ready they can publish their blog at anytime.
Top Bloggers
On the blogs section index page we list the top "bloggers" of the community.
Digg Integration
Each blog post has a Digg integration.
Social Sharing
Users can share each blog entry using the Social Sharing feature.Favorites
Users can add a blog to their list of "Favorites".
Report a Blog
Each blog entry can be reported to the Admins by the community to help prevent SPAM and/or remove inappropriate material that is considered to breach the terms & conditions of the site.
