General Management

When your users need to update their account they can visit their "Account Settings". This will allow them to change all of their important information from the one location.

This information includes their location, which they can select their country, state/province, city and ZIP/postal code.

They can also select which language they would like to view your site in.

Users can also modify their date of birth and gender if you allow them to. By default we allow this but Admins can disable this from the AdminCP.

Another important feature is what time zone they are in, which they can select from this page as well as if they are in DST (Daylight Savings Time).

We also provide the ability for your users to edit their forum signature, which is connected to each forum post they make within the forums.

Changing their Password

Users can change their password, however they must provide their current password before we can update their password. This is done for a little extra security for your users.

Changing their Email

Users can change their email from the "Account Settings" page, however if Admins have the option to verify emails before they are updated the users will have to verify their new email first.

Updating Username and Full Name (Display name)

Users are able to update both their full name and username from the "Account Settings" page. Admins can control how many times a user can edit either of these fields. By default a user can only edit their username 3 times.

Invisible Mode

Your users can enable the "Invisible Mode" option from the "Privacy Settings" page. If enabled they will not be shown within any "Online" lists.

Profile Privacy

Within the "Privacy Settings" page your users can control the privacy for their profile and any item connected to it. Each privacy setting can have one of the following options:

• Anyone (Anyone can view the item)
• Network (Only members of the site can view the item)
• Friends Only (Only their friends can view the item)
• No One (Nobody can view the item, except for the owner of the item)

Display Date of Birth

Your users can control how they want their date of birth displayed on the site. They can select one of the following options:

• Display age and date of birth.
• Display age and day/month of birth.
• Display only my age.
• Display only day/month of birth.
• Hide my age and date of birth.

Notification Privacy

Your users may not want to be notified via their email on everything that happens on a site and we give them the control to allow or deny the following notifications:

• New Comments
• Comments for Approval
• Forum Subscriptions
• New Friend
• Friend Request
• New Messages
• Receive Newsletter

Blocking Users

We give the ability for your users to block other users on the site. They can manage these users from their "Privacy Settings" page and remove them at anytime.

Cancel Account

You can give your users the ability to cancel their account in case they do not want to be part of the community at the moment.

Keyword Substitutions

In your newsletter you may need to use the user's name or your own site's name. We provide the following support:

• {FULL_NAME} => recipient's full name
• {USER_NAME} => recipient's user name
• {SITE_NAME} => site's name
