We are pleased to announce that our main website (http://www.phpfox.com/) has been updated and is now using our flagship product phpFox v2.0.3. This is the first stage of updates that will take place over the next few months. We will continue to update other areas of our site such as our support suite, clients area and forum to use modules that are part of our own product.
phpFox v2 not only brings a new engine to power the future of our product but introduces a few changes to the packages and licenses we release. We have discontinued selling the "Monthly License" and for those that have active monthly licenses will continue to get the same support and download privileges they have had in the past.
phpFox now comes in 3 different packages. More information on our new pricing and packages can be found here.
We have split up our "Support & Upgrades" to two packages. One being the "Standard Support Package", which is the ability to access and get support from our technicians and the other is "Software Upgrades", which is the ability to access and download new updates we release. If you have purchased during the time of "Life Time" support/upgrades you will continue to get that, these new changes are for new purchases. We have updated all of our active clients with "Software Upgrades" to allow everyone the ability to download version 2.0, everyone has been given 14 days extra of "Software Upgrades" where you can download v2 free of charge, this is an addition to the "Software Upgrades" you are entitled to. If you purchased it last January 1st, you are entitled to download upgrades until July 1st + 14 days, allowing you to download v2 until July 15th instead. If you have not received this package contact us here.
Version 2.0.3 has also been released and is a minor maintenance update. It mainly has changes for new clients as the software is now split up into 3 packages. Our next release will be 2.0.4 and we are working on releasing a beta FBConnect integration.
Benc Enterprises AB is moving its base of operations to the San Fransisco Bay Area. This has been in process since the start of this year and is continuing over the next few months. Benc Enterprises AB in Sweden has been converted into a subsidiary and will continue to run R&D (Research & Development) for phpFox. More information regarding these changes will be released once the entire process is complete.
We are still testing our main site and if you encounter any problems or a page can't be found please contact us.
Thank you!
Several reports came in after the release of version 2.0.0 last night and we felt it was crucial to release an update right away to fix these issues.

We are pleased to announce that phpFox2 RC 12 (Release Candidate 12) has been released for public testing. As the time of this writing RC 12 will be our final Release Candidate.
For you phpFoxers who are worried that we will throw in the towel once stable is released, don't worry, we won't. We know how strong the new version is and it's potential. Why settle with a good software, when we can create an excellent one? Another reason for our continued intense development is thanks to the active assisting clients within the phpFox community. Many of you have provided us with awesome feedback and submitted great ideas we want to implement to the software! Having that said, we will still continue the intensity of work even after the stable release.
Unlike past RC versions this one introduces 3 new features. These 3 new features have been developed for the community in thanks for all the help you have given us over the last few months.

New Features
Note these new features are considered "experimental" and are not stable due to the short development period as none of these features were planned on being developed. We will do our best to clean them up before stable, however these features are intended to be fully functioning by v2.1.
If you have any ideas on how to improve these features make sure to add it to our Feature Request section.
"Like" a Feed
On certain feeds (not all) you can "Like" or "Unlike" them. Once an item is liked it will email the other party and notify them in their dashboard. If you liked a feed it will display that you liked a feed on the public feed and on your profiles feed. This is all this feature can do at the moment. Features such as "Dislike" and "Feed Subscriptions based on liking an item" will be added in the future.Friends Suggestion
Our Friends Suggestion feature is designed to find suggestion based on friends of my friends and then try to find users who are located in the same Country, State/Province and City (If that feature is enabled). One friend suggestion is displayed on a users dashboard with a link to view all the friend suggestions available to them.reCAPTCHA
This feature has been requested by many and as wanted it has arrived! You can now enable reCAPTCHA as your main Captcha tool.Change Log
