This plugin uses a central server for authentication login for easy installation and in order to avoid future updating from providers.

Back to 5 stars. I left a previous review that there were a few issues that needed addressed. modules2buy support has fixed all errors that I have found.

This is a simple and clean mod that does exactly what the description says.

At first this mod was 5 stars. Love the support Modules2Buy has and they have a lot of fantastic mods in which I have no problems with. I still like the possibilities with this mod, but it needs some tweaks in my opinion. After using it with a 2,000 member site, I started too have speed issues. I am not a programmer, but I believe the script checks for a cookie and tries to automatically log you on. It does this successfully, but it takes time, up to 7 seconds. The member has no indication what the site is trying to do and it frustrates them. With my site taking around 3 secs to load, it could take up to 10 sec. to sign on. I averaged 7 to 10 second sign-in times. I went back to Janrain and don't have the problem. Again, this is just my experience.

I also experienced users getting signed into each others accounts. For example. I used my own facebook sign-in one day. A totally different day I was on my admin account and someone with my Facebook login was IM'ing me. That was a little weird and concerning. They stated they used the Openid to log in and got my account. I have heard other members say they have experienced this, so I think it is a bug in the mod, but can't say for sure.

Again, like the possibilities, the price and the support, but in my opinion, it needs a few issues addressed.

A great mod that every site needs. I had the version for v2 that was developped by another modder and it was well used.

This is a well coded mod and a must for every site. Price is excellent too and the support that M2b offers is first class.
