Running Recommendation & Suggestion plugin on phpFox network is a powerful way to increase user engagement in site’s activities, boost user’s friend count, and build a better user-base site and connection. With Suggestion & Recommendation, users not only receive friend suggestions from the system or from their friends but also receive various content suggestions such as join-a-Page suggestion, join-an-event suggestion, view-a-blog suggestion, watch-a-video suggestion, etc. These suggestions are shown to users through user-friendly widgets and popups. In addition, users may reject suggestions that they are not interested in, and such suggestions will not be shown to them again.

- Enable phpFox system to recommend members to other members (Friend Recommendation)
++ After a member accepts a friend request from the other member, system will recommend friends of the other friend to that member

- Content suggestions include: Pages, Blogs, Photos, Forum threads, Polls, Videos, Quizzes, Events, Music, Marketplace Listings
- Easy-to-navigate suggestion page which include sub-pages: All Suggestions, My Suggestions, Friends Suggestions, Incoming Suggestions, Pending Suggestions
- Allow admin to set friend suggestion condition for those who have a few friend: only those who have a number of friends less than the number configured by admin will be able to receive friend suggestions
- Member will receives Notification updates upon actions on friend suggestions
- Member can enable/disable recommendation & suggestion features through their Privacy Settings
- Friend suggestions and content suggestions can be viewed in Notification and in Suggestion page
- Allow admin to set number of entries to be displayed on blocks

This is one of the mods that one cannot afford not to have on their site. It gives users ability to suggest content to one another thereby making the site more activity. Great product!

I have it running on 3.4.1
If you want a dynamic community, that's a must have add-on. It makes my members a lot more active and returning to the site.

@T9 u can send suggestion with ticket system at client area. for experience I can tell they listen all ideas and consider if add or not at next relase.

This plugin is good but not perfect, unfortunately.
It is customizable according to the own needs in few/some minutes.

Issues still to be improved:

-- The English phrases could be improved significantly in some cases (Note: This can easily be done yourself via the phrases manager),

-- The "Recent Pages" / "Recent Events" suggestions block are constantly showing the same(!) Page(s) resp. Event(s) although there exists many Page(s) resp. Event(s) that are members of the subset "Recent". This is not the usual behaviour of phpFox where a set of items are shown randomly at a given number of placeholders wihtin a block. -> So, the suggestions blocks don't really provide good suggestions!

-- The "Recent Pages" / "Recent Events" suggestions blocks are not shown to visitors (Guests) although the User Group Access setting allows this. This is a consequence of an issue (bug) with the "Suggest to ..." link that did not work well for Guests.

-- In many cases Modules2Buy is using HTML properties instead of CSS. This makes it hard to customize the plugin according to your theme.

All in all Modules2Buy is doing a good job, but they would be able to do it better.
