Advanced Event plugin includes many features that help users manage their online event registration and make their events more successful and profitable. Custom field for event categories is a great tool which helps admin add more fields to event creation or event edition such as: website, event type, etc. Users can browse for interested events by advanced search criteria: description, month, past events and proximity search (location + distance). Also, with provided blocks such as Featured Events, Calendar, Past Events, Advanced Event makes it easier for user to access any site event.

Hi, Anybody who is looking to buy this module.
Stick with me it’s a long story.
Just want to say, for me, when V3 came out, the default events module was a little on the thin side let’s say.
So I noted all the extra features that I would like to see in an advanced events module, in the forum and asked the rest community if they could think of anything else that would like to make the events module just right for them too, and with a little scouting around the forum for past suggestions I collated them in one thread
After a few weeks we had a nice list but it was about time I asked someone to make an advanced events module that would cater for us all.
I had bought a couple of modules from modules2buy and they seemed very robust, the company seemed like it knew where it was going with the modules they have to offer, but most of all the speed of service was just the way business should be, if you need an answer, get it straight away (excluding time difference), if you‘ve got a problem get it sorted fast and in an approachable way.
So I thought what the heck I will put it to them and low and behold within four days they had given me a yes and time scale of 4 weeks, this was over the Christmas holiday so I nearly fell over with excitement.
So, to the module,
When I installed it I was blown away over 95% of the suggestions that we all came up with were in this module,
Maybe the addition of a pin map with all the events on would have topped it off it wouldn’t surprise me if that’s not being worked on (or done if this is review is now old)
but FANTASTIC!!! ABSOLUTLY BIRILLIENT!!! at last, an events module to be proud of.
I could give you a list of the features that set this module apart, but just go and try the demo it’s got everything, the Admin is simple just the way it I like it, installation instructions are simple and easy to follow, every that needs to be in the module is there, and is this as robust as the rest of their modules, bet your life it is, and if you’ve got a problem, I am sure will they sort it quickly.
All in all a fab mod
If you are still reading and haven’t pressed the buy button, do it now your users will love you for it.
