[v2 & v3] ]SpamTrawler Advanced

After reading the reviews here and other places online, I bought a 3-license bundle of SpamTrawler Advanced (it's like buy two, get one free!). I have one installed on my phpFox site and another on my vBulletin forum site. I've seen a significant drop in spam registrations on both sites! Prior to installing SpamTrawler I'd have to manually ban between 2 and 5 forum registrations each day. SpamTrawler now catches and blocks them before they can even register! One benefit that I really like is the ability to block by country - with a single click.

I was sure the reviews about Oliver's support had to be overblown some. I mean no one can be that good. But the reviews are dead on. I had several questions early on and Oliver's responses were quick, detailed, professional and friendly.

This is seriously one of the best purchases I've made for either site. And the support is, without a doubt, the best I think I've ever received. Thanks, Oliver!!

This spam system was recommended by a phpfox site member, and a number of others. After alot of research on spam and firewall software available for phpfox it was obviously that spamtraler was the leading one. So we took the leap. Absolutely no regrets at all. We had an issue with our hosting provider and Oliver took care of that. The installation was perfect. The admin panel is impressive. Huge value for money. After purchasing an addon to things can happen, you either get that feeling of regret or feel like it could have been a little better, or it is ok. On this occasion I pleased to advise that it has exceeded our expectations.

My site is yet to be launched but just a look at the phpfox forums shows you that spam is probably users' number 1 concern. I'm very happy to have come across this product, I can see it's very solid and flexible, and it will allow me to open my site with fewer worries. I must praise their tech support, as I ran into trouble installing it, and not only they helped me with that but they tweaked a few settings to make things easier for me.

Spam Trawler Advanced has been running flawlessly on my site for a month at the date of this post. My domain is older then Google and I am a target for every spam bot and spammer on the internet.

This very reasonably priced program has not only helped my with Phpfox spam, it is working perfectly for 4 other software applications. This should be running on every Phpfox site IMHO.
